FUNLTM Data Collection System
- FUNL - The
FUNLTM
data collection system
for telecommunications switches* allows you to collect data from network
elements, distribute network information, and collect data in real time and via
poling. FUNL is an invaluable tool for cellular, rental, and real-time (hot)
billing, and fraud control application, while performing regular data
collection.
- Stand-alone version - allows data collection from a telecom switch with
storage to the local hard drive. Data can then be retrieved from the hard drive or
transferred to another machine for processing by your application(s).
- Networked version - allows data collection from telecom switches with centralized data gathering and real-time data display. The switches can be in the same room or the same city or they can be distantly located in another city, state, or even another country. The data is transferred from the switch location, via the network, to a central location. The transfer mechanism uses a highly flexible, patented subject-based addressing* protocol that enables multiple programs to receive the data. The receiving programs can get all the data or that which is of interest, for example calls from or to a set of specified numbers.
